General English Online Course
The six General English courses cover Low Beginner to High Advanced levels. The Low Beginner level is suitable for beginner learners and includes extra support for everything from handwriting to pronunciation. The next two levels are task-based and interactive, giving students opportunities to learn and use new language in real-life situations. The higher three levels follow a skills-based approach.
Language learning moves from vocabulary and task-based approaches that focus on fluency development to one more clearly focused on accuracy and complexity. The overall General English package contains approximately 234 online learning hours.
Low Beginner Vital Low Beginner enables students to gain a general knowledge of basic English through learning how to greet others, introduce themselves to others, express their likes and dislikes and various other functions.
At the end of this programme, students are expected to be able to:

recall language items and sequences.
recognise correct language patterns.

Low Intermediate Vital Low Intermediate enables students to gain a general knowledge of basic English through practising commonly used vocabulary and language chunks such as greeting others, introducing themselves and others, expressing their likes and dislikes and various other functions.
